Multnomah County is offering help for seniors during the Medicare open enrollment period which starts Saturday.
Plans change annually but this year changes in coverage and costs could dig deeper into pockets. Seniors can only switch plans during open enrollment which runs through Dec. 7.
To help sort out the complexities, Multnomah County is offering free one-hour sessions with trained and impartial experts at various libraries during open enrollment. Appointments are required. To book a date, call 503-988-3646. Do not call the library.
